POS QA Manager

Job Description

Franpos Inc. seeks a POS QA Manager to perform quality assurance testing and validation of proprietary point-of-sale (POS) software used in retail and service environments. The position involves ensuring reliability, functionality, and performance of software features through structured QA processes and collaboration with development and product teams.


Job Duties

  • Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for POS software updates and deployments
  • Perform manual and automated testing including functional, regression, and integration testing
  • Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools
  • Collaborate with software developers and product teams to resolve issues and validate feature completeness
  • Perform compatibility testing across hardware devices, operating systems, and peripherals used in POS environments
  • Create and maintain QA documentation including test cases, testing procedures, and validation reports
  • Simulate real-world retail workflows to ensure system stability and usability
  • Participate in product planning discussions to provide QA input during development cycles
  • Validate software deployments prior to release to ensure performance standards are met

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, QA testing, or related occupation
  • Experience writing test cases, executing test plans, and documenting defects
  • Experience with QA tools such as Jira, Selenium, or similar tools
  • Experience testing software applications in retail or POS environments
