What is Pickup and Drop-off?

A day calendar for trips where your driver collects a pet from the customer and brings it back, with columns for each provider or van and trips linked into a route.

How is it different from mobile grooming?

They share one setting, Mobile service type, which holds None, Mobile grooming or Pick up/drop off service. Pickup and Drop-off goes with the third choice and the mobile grooming calendar with the second.

Can I optimize the route?

Yes. Optimize Pickup and Optimize Dropoff work out a van's route for the day. Choose a van first, and note they need an internet connection.

Can customers be told when the driver is on the way?

Yes. Turn on the appointment en route text notification in the Notifications tab of Mobile grooming settings, along with any confirmation emails and texts you want.

Do customers sign a waiver for pickup trips?

You can require one. Add or open a waiver and include Apply to Pickup Dropoff under Applied to.

Is this the same as the delivery board?

No. The Pickup and delivery board tracks online orders that customers collect or have delivered. Pickup and Drop-off is for pets.
