INFORMATION CHOICES AND CHANGES
Our marketing emails tell you how to “opt-out.” If you opt out, we may still send you non-marketing emails. Non-marketing emails include emails about your accounts and our business dealings with you.
You may send requests about personal information to our Contact Information below. You can request to change contact choices, opt-out of our sharing with others, and update your personal information.

PROTECTION OF GOOGLE USER DATA
We implement robust, industry-standard security measures to protect personal data, including information obtained via Google OAuth. These measures include:
- Encryption in transit using HTTPS (TLS).
- Encryption at rest for stored data.
- Access controls based on role and principle of least privilege.
- Regular audits, monitoring, and review of access to data.
- Secure authentication and session management practices.
These controls are designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of your data.
USE OF GOOGLE USER DATA
If you choose to connect your Franpos account with your Google account, we may access certain Google user data as authorized by you via the OAuth consent screen. This may include information such as your name, email address, and access to your Google Merchant Center account.
We use this information exclusively for the purpose of:
- Syncing product data from your Franpos account to your linked Google Merchant Center account.
- Managing and updating product listings to reflect your catalog within Google Merchant Center.
We do not use Google user data for any purpose other than those explicitly authorized by you. We do not share this data with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising or analytics. Our use of Google user data strictly adheres to Google’s Limited Use requirements and is governed by the scopes you approve during the authorization process.
RETENTION AND DELETION OF GOOGLE USER DATA
We retain Google user data only as long as necessary to provide the requested services or comply with applicable legal requirements.
Users can request deletion of their Google user data at any time by contacting us at support@franpos.com. Upon verifying your request, we will promptly remove the data unless retention is required for legal or operational purposes.
We do not use Google user data for any purpose other than those explicitly authorized by the user.
SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS YOU CONNECT (FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM, GOOGLE BUSINESS PROFILE AND LINKEDIN)
Franpos customers can connect their own business accounts to the Social tools in Pulse: a Facebook Page, the Instagram professional account linked to it, a Google Business Profile, and a LinkedIn company Page. You choose which accounts to connect and can disconnect any of them at any time. We only act on accounts that you connect. We do not post to, or read from, any account for our own purposes.
WHAT WE ACCESS FROM THOSE ACCOUNTS
With your permission, through each network’s own sign-in screen, we may access:
- Account details: the name and identifier of your Page, Instagram account, Business Profile or LinkedIn Page, and your name and identifier on the network.
- Your posts: the posts and photos you ask us to publish or schedule, so that we can publish them.
- Comments and reviews: comments on your Facebook and Instagram posts, Facebook recommendations, and Google reviews.
- Messages: direct messages sent to your Facebook Page (Messenger) and your Instagram account.
For LinkedIn we use only the permission to publish posts to your Page and to list the Pages you administer. We do not read comments or messages from LinkedIn.
HOW WE USE THAT INFORMATION
We use it only to provide the Social tools you asked for:
- Publishing and scheduling the posts you create, to the accounts you choose.
- Showing your comments, reviews and messages in one inbox, and letting you reply.
- Suggesting a reply. If you use the AI reply feature, the text of the comment, review or message you are replying to is sent to an AI service so that it can draft a reply for you. A draft is never sent on its own: a person on your team must approve it, or edit it, before it is posted.
We do not sell this information, and we do not use it for advertising or to build profiles of the people who write to you. We do not share it with third parties except the service providers that process it for us, including hosting and AI providers, and as described under “Sharing of personal information” above.
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Our use of information received from Meta and LinkedIn is limited to the purposes described in this section.
HOW WE PROTECT IT
The access tokens that let us act on your accounts are encrypted before they are stored, are never shown in the app, and are used only by the part of our system that publishes and replies for you. Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS (TLS). Access is limited by role.
DISCONNECTING AND DELETING YOUR SOCIAL DATA
You can disconnect an account at any time in Pulse under Marketing, Social. When you disconnect, we revoke our access with the network where it allows us to, and we erase the stored access tokens.
If you remove Franpos from your Facebook or Instagram settings, or ask Facebook to delete the data we hold about you, Meta notifies us and we erase your stored conversations, messages and access tokens. You can also ask us to delete the social data we hold for you at any time by emailing support@franpos.com. We will confirm the request with you and then delete it, unless we are required to keep something by law.
PEOPLE WHO WRITE TO OUR CUSTOMERS
If you commented on, reviewed, or sent a message to a business that uses Franpos, that business is the one responsible for your information, and we process it on its behalf. To ask for your information to be deleted, contact the business first, or email us at support@franpos.com.
