Stock operations is the left-menu home for receiving, counting, transferring and ordering.

Receive

Scan it in. Nothing moves until you say.

Choose the vendor, scan each item, check the quantities and costs, and press Receive.

Each scan lands in the list, and you can change the Qty received and Unit cost
Anything marked Needs attention is flagged before you can review
Nothing is added to your stock until you press Receive
Drafts are saved to your account, so you can resume them on any of your devices, and two people can work the same draft

Reconcile

Fix the count. See the value of the difference.

When a count does not match the system, Reconcile shows what is on hand, what you counted, the variance and its value.

Items that differ need a Reason, picked from a list you control, so shrink is explained, not guessed
Zero out missing items sets every item nobody counted to zero, for a full count only
Review and send first, because applying to stock cannot be undone; a mistake is fixed with another reconcile
A reconcile can be opened to other users to join, so a whole team counts together

Know where every unit is.

Stock Transfer sends stock from one location to another, and the receiving store receives it; a transfer can be limited to Low stock only items
Inventory Lookup shows the quantity at your location, and other locations if you have access, by name, SKU or scan
Items has Low stock, Out of stock and Below reorder filters, and History shows what every past count or receive changed

You never close for a stock take, and the whole catalog is covered through the year.

Every item is ranked A, B, C, D or X from your last 90 days of sales, and faster sellers are counted more often
Items with negative stock, a last count off by more than your tolerance, or stock on hand with no sale in 90 days or more jump the queue, and a Why today column says why
Auto-assign splits the list so each person gets whole categories, with no criss-crossing the floor
Blind count hides the system quantity until an item is counted
Counts inside your tolerance are accepted; counts outside it wait in Needs review for Approve or Recount

How does Franpos track inventory?

Stock changes only through Receive, Reconcile, Stock Transfer, purchase orders and sales, and each one shows its numbers before you confirm. History records what every past count or receive changed.

Can I do cycle counts instead of a full stock take?

Yes. Auto schedule cycle count builds a short list each day, ranked by how fast each item sells, so the whole catalog is covered through the year without closing.

Can my team count at the same time?

Yes. Drafts are saved to your account so several people can work the same one, and a reconcile can be opened for other users to join.

Does it work with barcode scanners and scales?

Yes. A hardware scanner, a camera or typing all work, scales fill in weights, and price-embedded barcodes from deli and produce scales are read.

Can I manage inventory across several stores?

Yes. Stock Transfer moves stock between stores, Inventory Lookup shows other locations if you have access, and the Stock transfer settlement report shows who owes whom.
