Multi-location management

One brain for every store. One screen for all of them.

Whether you run three stores or a franchise network, the hard part is the same: knowing which store needs you right now. Franpos puts every location in one account, ranks them against each other, flags the ones worth a look, and lets head office set the rules once.

The BI group holds long, scrollable reports built for businesses with many locations.

Chain BI and Store BI

The whole chain, ranked and compared

Chain BI is the whole-chain view; Store BI is one store, including how it compares with the others.

  • Chain at a glance shows Gross, Tickets, Average ticket, Tips, Service share and Momentum, with change against the compared period
  • The Store leaderboard ranks every store by gross, with a trend line for periods up to 62 days
  • Flags names the stores worth a look, such as Sales down, No sales, Overbooked or Below goal, with the figure that put them there
  • Goals shows net sales against your company goal and the stores below it
  • Each store's day is cut at that store's own day, not the device's

Make it yours

Pick the stores. Arrange the page.

Switch between Chain and Store scope, and choose a hand-picked set of stores to add up.

  • Pick Today, Last 7, Month so far, Year to date, or your own range, with the earlier range it is compared with
  • Customize reorders or hides sections, and your layout is saved to your account
  • Chain site reports on orders taken by a chain storefront and fulfilled by your stores
  • In the Command Center, switch between This location and All locations to see each store's open cards

Who can do what, where

People, permissions and shared data across your stores.

People and access

Assign people to stores, and access to people

Employees can be spread across your locations, and you choose which locations each person is assigned to.

  • An Access permission is a named set of things a person may do, such as take payments or view reports
  • A permission's Replicate switch pushes the same permission to other locations, and Multi-location Update applies your edits to them
  • A person can only see the stores their login can access, in the reports and everywhere else
  • Employees shared from another company or location show a Shared tag and are managed at their home location
Sharing and standards

Share what should be shared

Multi-location settings control what is shared between your stores.

  • Share customers, gift cards, deposits and memberships by location, or in named groups with their own share types and locations
  • A location can belong to only one group for each share type
  • At a parent account, Standardize across all locations makes one setting for the whole chain, and locations see a message instead
  • Standardize loyalty across all locations makes one program for the chain with shared balances
Growing the chain

Add a store without starting over

Locations are added in Settings, and can copy setup from another store.

  • Add location takes a name, address, phone and time zone, and can set a Territory and a display order
  • Replicate data from location copies the setup you tick from another store
  • The location picker in the app header switches the store you are working in

Multi-location management, answered

How do I manage multiple store locations in one system?
Add each store as a location in one account. Reports can look at the whole chain or one store, employees are assigned to locations, and Multi-location settings control what the stores share.
Can I compare my stores against each other?
Yes. Chain BI ranks every store on a leaderboard and flags the ones worth a look, and Store BI shows how one store compares with the others.
Can different managers see different stores?
Yes. Each person is assigned to locations and given an Access permission, and they only see the stores their login can access.
Can stores share customers and gift cards?
Yes. Multi-location settings can share customers, gift cards, deposits and memberships by location or in named groups.
Does it work for franchises?
Yes. Franchisors get chain reports, a shared catalog, price books and royalty setup for every location. See the franchise page for more.
What does it cost?
Every business is different, so we quote per location. Book a demo and we will walk you through it.
