A working web address under a Franpos name works as soon as you publish, before any DNS change
Connect your own domain from the Domains tab: add a few records at the company where you bought it
Check again verifies the records, and DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to spread
Keep the Franpos address as a backup so the site always has an address

Questions about the website builder

Do I need my own domain name to go live?

No. Franpos gives you a working web address under a Franpos name that works as soon as you publish. You can connect your own domain at any time, even after publishing.

What if my domain says it cannot find the record?

The DNS record you added at your domain provider has not shown up yet. DNS changes can take up to 48 hours. Wait, press Check again, and make sure the record matches exactly what the Domains tab shows.

Can I change my template later?

Yes. You can change it later and keep your pages, or start over, with Undo.

Do I need Google Analytics?

No. Website analytics counts visits itself and shows where visitors came from and what they bought or booked.

Is online ordering included?

Online ordering is part of an add-on. If it is missing from your Website page, contact support.

Who can edit and publish the site?

Changing the site needs the Site info right on your Access permission. Ask a manager or the account owner to add it.
